A Prize will be awarded to the best individual presentation by a CSANZ young investigator in each themed prize session at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
The themed prizes are as follows:
Abstracts may only be submitted for one themed prize. Ralph Reader applicants may submit an abstract of their manuscript into one Prize category but can only present in either Ralph Reader or Prize category final.
Prizes are targeted to young investigators. Please read the eligibility criteria for each of the prize categories and ensure you comply before submitting your abstract for consideration for a prize.
Applicants for all prizes must be CSANZ members (or have submitted an application for membership) by the abstract submission deadline.
Abstracts accepted as a poster that meet the eligibility criteria can be considered for a New Investigator Poster Prize.
All abstracts submitted for the CSANZ ASM Prizes must be accompanied by a detailed letter of support using the below template from the Supervisor or Director of the laboratory or clinical service in Australia or New Zealand from which the work has emanated. The letter must contain the following information:
The letter of support must be submitted to the abstract portal prior to the abstract submission deadline. Failure to provide the letter from the Supervisor will result in the paper being withdrawn from consideration for the Prize session.
